Welcome back!
This evening I have a Slim Line Valentine’s Day Card for our mini series of Marbled Elegance Valentine’s Fun. To add a little fun this evening I am throwing in a new bundle from the January Scrapbooking Brochure!
Stampin’ Up!©️ Marbled Elegance Suite Collection has a lot of versatility. You can really do so much with the dies and paper in this suite. Tonight you will see how I was able to incorporate a different bundle into the suite.
The new Meant To Bee Bundle is a new bundle that is part of the Meant To Bee Scrapbooking Collection. You can find this bundle in the January Scrapbooking Brochure on page 15 and in the online store.
Todays card I will be using everything in the Marbled Elegance Suite Collection except the Gift Bags. I will use them in the last part of this mini series. You can find a sample of use on the Stamp It Group Valentine’s Day Blog Hop post.
Lets start with paper sizes and colors!
Colors that I am using include: Early Espresso 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock, Basic Beige 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock, scraps of Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock. I also have a piece of Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP.
In the photo you will see a piece of Gold Foil, I ended up not using that but you can if you choose. I replaced the Gold Foil with Aluminum Foil!
Yep you read that right, old fashioned Aluminum Foil on a card!
I will be using Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin Pad for stamping the sentiments, Crushed Curry Classic Stampin Pad and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink for the Bumble Bee.
Because this is a Slim Line card I have made a custom envelope for it. For this I used Regal Distressed 12” x 12” Specialty Designer Series Paper. Measurements can be found in the photo below.
***UPDATED INFO***
I was playing around on Pinterest and stumbled on this awesome image of a slim line card envelope template and I wanted to share it. This was posted by Rosanne Mulhern at hearfeltstampin.com. I have included a link to the Pinterest Post that she posted. Just click the picture and it will fly you right on over! Thank Rosanne for posting this awesome template!! Much appreciated!!
Paper Sizes and scoring:
Early Espresso 8-1/2 x 11” Cardstock: 7” x 8-1/2” score at 3-1/2”, 3-3/8” x 8-3/8”, and 7/8” x 7/8” (x18).
Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP: 2” x 3-1/2”.
Basic Beige 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 3-1/4” x 8-1/4” and 1” x 1” (x18)
Basic White scraps and a 3” x 4” piece of Aluminum Foil.
Now for the fun of putting this card together!! Warning you may want to have something sweet on stand by!
The first step to make this yummy candy bar inspired card, we need to do some major scoring. You can use your paper trimmer to do this but I do advise using the Simply Scored tool to prevent cutting by accident. I wont disclose how many times I did this…..
You will score the 3-3/8” x 8-3/8” Early Espresso Panel on the short side at 1-1/8” and 2-1/4”. On the long side: 1-1/8”, 2-1/4”, 3-3/8”, 4-1/2”, 5-5/8”, 6-3/4” and 7-7/8”. The very bottom edge will be a bit wonky but thats okay!

NOW YOU HAVE A SIMPLE YET ADORABLE CARD YOU CAN SEND OUT TO A LOVED ONE. ALL OF THE CARDS FEATURED IN THIS MINI SERIES ARE BEING DELIVERED TO OUR LOCAL LONG TERM CARE CENTER!
I do have a full list of products used as well as links to them in my store. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me either in the comments below or privately!
I will be back Wednesday for another fun little card using Marbled Elegance Suite Collection including the Treat Bags!

My Favorite Stampin Tools
1.Take Your Pick | |
![]() |
So many uses and attachments for this little tool that makes crafting so much easier! I have 3 currently in my tools drawer! |
2.Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio (Imperial)
![]() |
This glass mat is amazing! I love that you can write on it, stamp on it and use it to line up paper. Easy to use and super easy to clean up when you’re all done! |
3.Simply Scored | |
![]() |
The Simply Scored is in my top 5 because it make scoring easy when you’re doing a bunch of scoring at once or intricate score marks for a fold. Also saves you from cutting when wanting to score! The diagonal board is also super helpful when doing scores for envelopes and boxes. |
4.Blending Brushes | |

Oh my blending brushes. These little fellows are a blessing when it comes to adding color and making scenes! I could write an entire book on why you should have these in your tool bag! |
5.Soft Pastels Assortment
![]() |
These are a sentimental favorite. I have been using soft pastels in art work since high school. They are a unique color tool that believe it or not has a lot of different uses and color techniques. If you want to explore coloring then grab a set of these! |
