Stamp It Group Thanksgiving Blog Hop
Thank you for joining me this evening for our Thanksgiving Theme Blog Hop! I am excited to have you here!
My name is Mikki Winebrenner and today I have a fun and fall card for you using Stampin Up’s Light the Year Bundle and Rustic Crate Stamp Set and Dies.
Thanksgiving is soon upon us! While deciding what to do for a Thanksgiving theme card I knew wanted to use the Light the Year Bundle. I’ve been obsessed with this bundle. There are so many ways to use it and I really wanted to find a way to incorporate it into todays card.
After some Pinterest searching and looking at different lantern/rustic decorations for fall, I decided to use the Rustic Crate Stamp and Dies to give the lanterns a fall look.
I added in the sunset background as it made sense to have lanterns lit at dusk. The way it all came together was better than I expected and I am excited to share it with you all.
Let’s dive on in to the details!
Measurements for the paper are sort of unique but pretty basic:
Pretty Peacock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4”, 2-1/2” x 4”, 4-1/4” x 4-1/4”
Basic White: 4” x 5-1/4”, 4” x 4”, scraps for stamping and sentiment
Scraps of Early Espresso and Smoky Slate
Ink colors that I used in this one are: Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Pebbled Path, Pretty Peacock and Whisper White. For the detail coloring I used Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Stampin Blends Combo Packs.

.
I do not have step by step for this card this time but I do have a Free Printable PDF file for you to print all the products and instructions to create this card. You can even change up the colors for more variety!
This card does have a different front style to it. I cut the card front in half (2-3/4” from the top) and attached my Deckled Circles to the space. I really like the unique look it gives.

My name is Mikki Winebrenner and today I have a fun and fall card for you using Stampin Up’s Online Exclusive Potions & Spells Bundle.
Halloween in not a favorite of mine. In fact the only reason I create a few cards is for my daughter and sister who LOVE Halloween.
My idea this year was to focus on Hocus Pocus with coloring and ideas. With there being 3 sisters in the movie and myself having 2 sisters it is almost perfect.
Let’s dive in….or fly in I suppose!
Measurements for the paper are pretty basic:
Basic Black: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4”
Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape: 1-1/2” x 5-3/8”, plus scrap pieces for the brooms.
Pecan Pie: Scrap piece for boom handles
Basic White: 4” x 5-1/4” (x2), scrap piece for books
Lemon Lime Twist: 2” x 2”
Ink colors that I used in this one are: Memento Tuxedo Black and Lemon Lime Twist Stamp Pads. Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin Blends Combo Packs where also used.
You will also need a small blending brush and 1-1/2” circle punch – if you don’t have one that’s fine, you can adjust the size as you need.
I also used White Gelly Roll Pen to add some highlights.
THERE IS A FULL LIST OF PRODUCTS BELOW WITH LINKS AND PRODUCT NUMBERS.
Attach the final Basic White piece to the inside, stamp your envelope ( forgot to grab pictures of those steps!) and your all done!
I hope this cards gives you a little fun Halloween inspiration! I’ve enjoyed creating this one for all of you.

Team Stamp It Fall Theme Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me this evening for our Fall Theme Blog Hop! I am excited to have you here!
My name is Mikki Winebrenner and today I have a fun and fall card for you using Stampin Up’s Online Exclusive stamp set Scenic Pumpkin Patch.
I will also have a little sneak peak for you with the new Autumn Expressions Stamp set which will be available in September in the Mini Catalog.
Last month I did a Christmas Card using this same set and I wanted to show you all how it can also be used for the “proper” season.
The card does require the use of 7 different colors and is a very stamp heavy card front. There’s A-LOT of stamping with this one!
First let’s get the easy part out of the way! Measurements for the paper are pretty basic:
Cajun Craze: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4”
Thoughtful Journey DSP: 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
Basic White: 4” x 5-1/4” (x2)
Ink colors that I used in this one are: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Wild Wheat, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly.
The color combination may not make sense but it does I promise!
You will need 4-5 blending brushes, I used both small and large ones but did find the smaller ones were a bit easier to work with.
THERE IS A FULL LIST OF PRODUCTS BELOW WITH LINKS AND PRODUCT NUMBERS.
For the card front I recommend that you use your best judgment on placements and even colors.
I used Wild Wheat for the wheat, Cajun Craze for the barn and trees, tree base and barn roof are Early Espresso.
The sky and clouds are Lemon Lolly, Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight.
To add depth between the Wheat and the barn, I layered colors and blended them with the blending brushes. I did add lighter tones in spots to give it a less of a flat landscape.
The sentiment is stamped in Wild Wheat and I fussy cut it out. I added a very light bit of Lemon Lolly to set it off.
Making a sneak peak are Wild Wheat 3/8” Rustic Striped Ribbon and Faux Glass Dots which can also be found in the Mini Catalog annd all belong to the Splendid Autumn Suite Collection.
Normally I would have a PDF for you to download but as life has been its normal crazy I was not able to get one prepared. I will get something up here for you all with measurements and products for you to download soon.

Christmas In July – Stamp It Group Blog Hop
Welcome to Stamp It Group Christmas In July Blog Hop!
Thank you for joining me today for our Christmas celebration! I am excited to have you here!
My name is Mikki Winebrenner and today I have a fun and simple Holiday card for you using Stampin Up Online Exclusive stamp set Scenic Pumpkin Patch.
Yup you read that right, I used a fall set to create this nostalgic feeling Christmas card front. I wanted to keep things as simple as I could and using a stamp set in different ways is always a great way to save time and money!
Christmas is my favorite holiday and I am already asking if I can put my decorations up and when is it going to snow! Speaking of snow, if you look close you can see a little bit of snow throughout this card. How did I make this happen? White Pearlized Enamel is how!!
I did not take step by step photos of the process of this card. I did however grab one so you could see how I stamped things out before putting it all together.
Lets jump on into the details!
Cutting & Scoring:
Mossy Meadow 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
Iconic Celebrations 6” x 6” DSP: 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock : 4” x 5-1/4” (x2), 3-3/4” x 5”
Cherry Cobbler 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock : 4” x 5-1/4”, 1” x 1” cut diagonally to make 4 little triangles.
There is a full list of products below with links and product numbers. There is also a full list of product and the measurements on the PDF file.
In the photo above you can see that I stamped all the images with Pecan Pie ink. In some places I used second generation stamping and in others places, such as the fencing, I actually stamped the images twice to make it darker.
I used the cloud stamp in the set in front of the fencing to give it a feel of piles of snow around the fence line or falling onto the side of a dirt road.
Then I added a little but of Pecan Pie along the edges of the entire piece to give it the sepia effect.
Fun fact! Or trick, I’m not really sure which way it goes but, on the bottom portion of the snow on the fence I used my finger to blend the ink in to give it a better transition and smooth out the harsh lines! A little messy but super effective.
I also used the fence stamping on the second piece of white for the inside of the card. Again, with the blending brushes adding in a little hint of color for an old paper feeling.
Stamp the sentiment with Mossy Meadow above the trees. The sentiment I used is from the Online Exclusive set So Very Merry.
For the snow look I used the White Basic Enamel along the snow lines or any lines that looked like they needed to pop a bit. I also added some to the top of the fence posts, barn and corners of the trees.
Last for the enamel I did small dots all over the card to give a snowfall look. Let the enamel dry for just a few minutes. The thicker the enamel is the longer it takes to dry.
Once you assemble the card front, I just added on those little triangle pieces in the corners to give it more of a photo effect. You do not have to do this step, it looks great with or without them!
That’s all there is to the card. I do have a PDF file for you to download and print.

Stamp It Group Summer Fun Blog Hop

Welcome to Stamp It Group’s Summer Fun Blog Hop!
I’m so excited for you to be here today with us! My name is Mikki Winebrenner and I have a fun summer themed card for you today using Stampin’ Up To Market Suite Collection.
A little back story for you as to why I chose this Suite for a Summer Fun Blog Hop. When To Market was released I was super excited because my daughter and I attend our local Farmer’s Market every week during the summer and fall as vendors.
We have such a good time meeting new people, visiting with old friends, being present in our community supporting an amazing weekly event and just being outside. A bonus for us is that we have a beautiful garden in the market area.
Let jump on into this beautiful card I have for you. I will not be giving a photo walk through of the build of this card. Silly me only took 3-4 pictures of the process! OOPS!!! While the card itself looks a little complex, the hardest part is putting the basket and bag together!
Some products you will need are: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green and Pecan Pie Classic Stampin Pads. The entire To Market Suite Collection, Natural Polka Dot Trim and Linen Thread.
There is a full list of supplies below with links to the products.
The cardstock measurements are:
Garden Green 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2”
Blackberry Bliss 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 3-3/8” x 4-5/8”, 1/2” x 4-1/4”
To Market 12” x 12” DSP: 4” x 5-1/4”, 1-1/4” x 3-1/8”, 1” x 4-1/4”, 2-3/4” x 4-1/4” (x3), 2” x 2”
Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 3-1/4” x 4-1/2”
Scraps of Basic White and Pecan Pie for stamping images and sentiment.
The few photos I do have for you are actually very beneficial for those of us who are visual people. As I mentioned earlier, the building of the basket and the bag are the hardest steps in this card. Below are the images with explanations of what I did.
This isn’t really a fun fold card but it does have a fun feature on the inside. I created a pocket with the DSP and there is an insert that can be pulled out and written on. I really like having an opportunity to write a special message in a card and this allows for that.
I have a tutorial PDF free to download with the process of how I put the card together as well as all the products and measurements used.

I debated a on what card to do for this Father’s Day hop. I had so many ideas of different styles and types of cards to do. I settled on this fun fold tackle box card.
I chose to use the Gone Fishing set because my dad is a HUGE fisher! He would live on the water in his boat if we would let him! Most weekends during fishing season if we cant find him we just have to looking in his favorite spots. It’s the “Where’s Waldo” Father Edition 😂

Cap & Gown Graduation Series
Hello Everyone! I know graduations are sneaking up on everyone at what seems to be a rapid pace! We have my daughter graduating from college this weekend! Im still wrapping my head around that one!!
With all the festivities in mind I wanted to give you some last minute ideas and inspiration for a quick graduation card. I will be using Stampin’ Up!’s Cap and Gown Cling Stamp Set.
Planning these out I thought it would be fun to really focus on our local community schools and branch out just a tiny bit into the surrounding areas as well as my daughters University.
The 4 card designs I will show you this week will have 6 different color combinations. I also have 1 card design that I only have one color combination for. We might just sneak in super fun explosion box as well!!
Let’s get going on these cards. I tried to keep them fairly simple for everyone. Please remember that the color combinations can be changed to do any color that is needed!
Our first card is a slim line card using Stampin Up’s Cap and Gown Cling set as well as Stampin’ Up Alphabet A’la Mode Dies – Just the numbers!
Slim line cards have a very different measurement than the standard cards. This also means you will need a different kind of envelope. I will touch on that at the end!
Measurements for this card (I will only be using the colors for one card in the measurements!) :
Basic White Cardstock: 7” x 8-1/2” scored at 3-1/2” – base of the card
Basic Black Cardstock: 3-3/8” x 8-3/8”
Poppy Parade Cardstock: 3-1/4” x 8-1/4”
Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/8” x 8-1/8”
After you cut your paper to size and score your base, pull out the numbers 0,2 and 4 from the Alphabet A’la Mode Dies. Line up the numbers in order 024 at the bottom of the 3-1/8” Basic White. Once you have that lined up, cut the numbers out with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Run it through again with only the number 2 at the beginning of the number sequence.
*SAVE THE NUMBERS!!! I use them in the next card tomorrow!!
As an alternative for the numbers, if you want to simply things even more, you can stamp the 2024 at the bottom of the same piece with the school color – for this sample I would use Poppy Parade stamp pad.
Stamp the word “CONGRATS” at the top of the 3-1/8” Basic White piece and “CLASS OF” above the numbers, both in Tuxedo black.
** Funny story: my “Class Of” saying is different from the one in the stamp set because me the brilliant one that I am lost my stamp shortly after pulling it out. The renegade stamp has been discovered and returned to it’s proper place.
Next stamp the robe in the school color of choice and the cap in black or the second school color.
On the inside of the card you will want to stamp your sentiment: I used the sentiment “you did it!”, and stamped it in tuxedo black in the center. I also grabbed the scroll stamp and stamped it directly under the words as well as in the outer two corners.
Let assemble this card up!!
You will want to use your preferred adhesive for this, I love my Multipurpose Liquid Glue. It is so forgiving and gives you just a little time to adjust the paper as you need.
Again, I am doing only color combination but the concept is the same for all of them.
Attach the 3-1/8” Basic White to the 3-1/4” Poppy Parade cardstock.
Attach the Poppy Parade to the Basic Black and then attach to the Basic White card front.
Easy Peasy!
To add just a little bit of a pop to the card, grab those iridescent foil gems and lets change the colors!
Grab the Stampin’ Blend that coordinates with your colors – Dark Poppy Parade and Dark Basic Black for me- Color 2-3 gems in those colors. Simply “paint” them with the blends. Let them dry for a few seconds and now you have custom color Iridescent Foil Gems.
Attach those around the card and we are all done.
For the envelope:
You have a couple options here. You can use a legal length envelope that you can purchase at a store or you can make your own with DSP. They are super simple to make.
Here is a downloadable template for you. I am a visual person so hopefully this will help.
As a mom with a graduate I understand how busy crazy things are getting right now. With that in mind I would also like to offer you an option that I normally would not do.
I have a bunch of these already made up in a variety of colors. If something catches your eye and you would really like to make it but have no time, reach out to me and we can work something out. All of these are available for purchase.
I will be back tomorrow with another fun and simple card for you! Below you will find the entire list of products I used with links to them in my store.
Happy Stamping!!

When I think of Mother’s Day I always think of flowers. I think it comes from when my kids were young they would always have some kind of flower for me for Mother’s Day. By some kind of flower I mean paper, real, weed, drawing… there was a definite variety but loved equally.
I knew I wanted to use the Online Exclusive Magnolia Mood Bundle for this card as it has quickly become a favorite of mine. However, I have been at a complete loss for ideas!
I thought it would be fun to slip in my technique to help get the creativity flowing. Being such a visual person I have found that making idea boards or inspiration boards with a bundle or suite.
This is the one I created for the Magnolia Mood Bundle when I first ordered it. You can also see the I have laid out the colors I wanted to use. I was finally able to come up with the design I have for you today.
I’ve also been color obsessed recently so brace yourself, there is a lot of coloring involved!!
Some of the products you will need are: Peach Pie Cardstock (You can substitute this with Petal Pink), Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Basic White Cardstock. You will also need those coordinating Stampin’ Blends. Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Calypso Coral Stamp Pad.
There is a full list of supplies below with links to the products.
The cardstock measurements are:
Peach Pie 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
Calypso Coral 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
Old Olive 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, 4” x 5-1/4”, 1 full sheet for stamping images, scrap piece for sentiment.
Let’s dive in with a quick run down of how I created this. Again, A LOT of coloring!

For the inside Basic White piece: I the genius that I am forgot to take photos of the process of creating it 😂. You will want to color in the flowers with your Stampin’ Blends and stamp your “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment in the center with Calypso Coral Ink.
I have a downloadable PDF for you with step by step instructions, a full supply list and a couple of photos. I even added in the inside piece for you!!!
You can download that at anytime and it is always free for your use!

Easter Week Excitement!
Hello everyone! I am terribly sorry to have missed everyone last week at the Easter Blog Hop! We had an emergency with my son and spent most of the day at the hospital 😔 He is doing better now and I am finally able to get this amazing card up for you all!
I wanted to kick off the Easter week with something unique and fun. With that said I have for you this really awesome card using Stampin’ Up! Excellent Eggs Bundle and a fun Basket Weave technique!

For the basket, I have a quick video for you. It’s not hard at all just complicated to try and explain through words. Being a visual person myself, I always find “show me” to be the best option when possible! 🙃
In this video I am using Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party and Starry Sky cardstock. I wanted to make it bright and different colors so you could see it better than the crumb cake.
After I assembled my basket of eggs I had this really big feeling that I forgot something. Sure enough, I absolutely did forget a rather important step 🙊
BEFORE you add the eggs to the card, grab a small blending brush and apply some Pecan Pie to the edges of the basket. The goal is to give it depth and make it look less flat. At the very end you will see that I have add lines under some of the pieces, I was attempting shadows that you would find in the layers of the weave. It didn’t end up perfect however the effect is still there.
Let’s get to the rest of the card and cut out some eggs! LOTS OF EGGS!!

I had a couple of moments of pure UH OH happen at this point in the card. Scary how happens when your almost done!
First the actual UH OH I had was that I placed one of the inside panels on upside down. Yup I’m awesome that way and we are just gonna leave it and see if the recipient notices!! 🤦🏼♀️
Second was more of a smack of forehead – How is the card going to stay closed? Brilliant time to think of that right!! A quick fix for this was to add little itty bitty magnets to the inside. Not everyone has this microscopic thingys just laying around so another option would be to actually tie a ribbon around it when you are completely finished. 🫣
To finish off the front of the card, I stamped Happy Easter in Soft Sea Foam and fussy cut it out and attached an extra gold bunny behind the sentiment with some Linen Thread to the back of the bunny. Attach the entire sentiment piece to the bottom of the egg we attached earlier. Lastly, I added in some Rainbow Adhesive-backed Dots to the top of the basket for just a little extra decoration.
And that is the creation of my Egg Basket Easter Card!
I hope this inspires you for any last minute card ideas you might need. I will be getting a few more Easter/Spring cards up this week to help get you inspired for Spring!!
Thanks for hanging out with me today! Please reach out with any questions. I know I threw a lot out at once! I do not have a PDF for this particular design, but if requested I will certainly get one written up!
Happy Stamping!!
