Happy February everyone! To welcome in the month I thought it would be fun to start a small series of Marbled Elegance Valentine’s Fun.
Stampin’ Up!©️ Marbled Elegance Suite Collection has a lot of fun items including an amazing Specialty Designer Series Paper that I have fallen in love with!
Todays card I will be using everything in the Marbled Elegance Suite Collection except the Gift Bags. I will use them later in this mini series and you can find a sample of use on the Stamp It Group Valentine’s Day Blog Hop post.
I’m not sure if this card is a fun fold exactly but it is a fun shape so we are going to roll with it! I do have 2 different designs for this Heart Shape card and as you will see later on I actually cut them a couple of different ways so they open different.
Lets start with paper sizes and colors!
Colors that I am using here are pretty simple. I have Real Red Cardstock as my base, some Gold Foil in one of the designs and Cherry Cobbler ink with both of them.
With the Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) you could use Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade or Cherry Cobbler for your base with these two pieces of DSP that I am using.
Paper Sizes and scoring:
Cherry Cobbler 8-1/2 x 11” Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4”
Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP: 3-1/4” x 4-1/4”
Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 4” x 4” and Scraps for stamping
Gold Foil: 1-1/2 x 1-1/2”

Now for the fun part of putting this card together!! Well these cards as I will show you both designs.

Cut paper that is needed. I stamped the sentiments and flowers (You would only need one of each sentiment and 1 flower) onto scrap white with Cherry Cobbler ink. Please note that I am doing 2 of each design!

On the Basic White hearts I have stamped my sentiments again in Cherry Cobbler ink and the printed heart on the corner of the envelope. I did steal the triple heart stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Set to add a little decoration to the piece. This is for the inside of the card so make sure you save room for any writing.

Attach the Basic White hearts to the inside of the card with liquid glue (you can do this last if you want. You will need to make sure you have the opposite sentiment for the front).

Left Side: Attach the Gold Foil Heart to the left side of the front with liquid glue. Attach the flower to the side of the heart with Stampin Dimensionals. Attach the sentiment with Stampin Dimensionals just under the flower. Right Side: Attach Gold Twisted Thread tot eh back of the Happy Valentine’s Day with glue or tape. Attach to the center of the heart with Stampin Dimensionals.
A couple of quick things: I mentioned that I cut my bases a little differently and I did this by moving the fold of the card to different spots on my die.

Second thing: I know some of you will be curious to know how I did the Sending Lots of Love sentiment with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. Here’s a quick step by step of how I did it.
This method will work with a lot of the punches to make them smaller in size. And I really do have an over abundance of Post It Notes stashed under my desk. I’ll nab a photo for you and throw it on my Facebook page! My daughter tells me I need an intervention!
Now you have 2 lovely and fun cards you can use to send out to a loved one. My little guys here will be heading off to the Long Term Care Center next week!
I do have a full list of products used as well as links to them in my store. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me either in the comments below or privately!
Come back later this week for another fun little card using Marbled Elegance once again!
Happy Stamping!!

So many uses and attachments for this little tool that makes crafting so much easier! I have 3 currently in my tools drawer! |
2.Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio (Imperial)

This glass mat is amazing! I love that you can write on it, stamp on it and use it to line up paper. Easy to use and super easy to clean up when you’re all done! |
3.Simply Scored | |
![]() |
The Simply Scored is in my top 5 because it make scoring easy when you’re doing a bunch of scoring at once or intricate score marks for a fold. Also saves you from cutting when wanting to score! The diagonal board is also super helpful when doing scores for envelopes and boxes. |
4.Blending Brushes | |

Oh my blending brushes. These little fellows are a blessing when it comes to adding color and making scenes! I could write an entire book on why you should have these in your tool bag! |
5.Soft Pastels Assortment

These are a sentimental favorite. I have been using soft pastels in art work since high school. They are a unique color tool that believe it or not has a lot of different uses and color techniques. If you want to explore coloring then grab a set of these! |
